We've been researching 'open' protocols for quite some time, one of our arguments for createing OpenCTRL where the costs of other so-called 'open' protocols.

Unlike other protocols, you can register a DeveloperID for FREE at OpenCTRL. Why should we try to 'make money' by forcing someone to do something (ex: pay money for OUI ID)?

DeveloperID' can be requested via email or IRC only. The early adaptors may choose their own DeveloperID (as welcome gift), in a later stage all new DeveloperID' will be randomized
